LRF1500H · 905 nm LiDAR Distance Sensor
LRF1500H accuracy and range test conditions
A range number needs a target and conditions. For the LRF1500H the published figure is 0.05–1,500 m (90% reflectivity); 0.05–300 m (10% reflectivity) (The two source values remain bound to their stated target reflectivity.). Accuracy: ±10 cm (<10 m); 1% (≥10 m).
Range, accuracy and rate as published
| Parameter | Published value | Condition / note |
|---|---|---|
| Measurement range | 0.05–1,500 m (90% reflectivity); 0.05–300 m (10% reflectivity) | The two source values remain bound to their stated target reflectivity. |
| Measurement frequency | 1 kHz or 50 Hz (automatically switched to match reflected-signal intensity) | Confirm against the controlled model document |
| Accuracy | ±10 cm (<10 m); 1% (≥10 m) | Confirm against the controlled model document |
| Repeatability | ±5 cm (<10 m); ±100 cm at 1,500 m | Confirm against the controlled model document |
| Ambient-light immunity | 100 klx | Confirm against the controlled model document |
| Reported resolution | 1 cm | Front-page feature statement; not an accuracy value |
How to read the conditions
Reflectivity is the fraction of laser light the target returns: a white board is about 90 percent, a building about 70 percent, grass and soil 10–30 percent. Visibility limits long-range figures because haze absorbs the pulse both ways. When two modules quote different targets, convert both to the same target before comparing; the open module database lists every vendor's condition next to its number.

FAQ
What is the maximum range of the LRF1500H?
The published range is 0.05–1,500 m (90% reflectivity); 0.05–300 m (10% reflectivity) (The two source values remain bound to their stated target reflectivity.). A range figure is only comparable together with the target and conditions it was measured on, so the condition is listed next to the value.
Which interface does the LRF1500H use?
The published communication interface is UART/IIC.
What laser wavelength does the LRF1500H use?
The published wavelength is 905 nm; laser safety entry: Class 1.
How much does the LRF1500H cost?
The published single-unit price of the LRF1500H is $400, falling to $180 per unit at the largest published quantity band. Prices include shipping and are ordered directly from erdilrf.com.
